Dear Colleagues,
The International Labour Organization together with the World Bank, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the Towards Global TVET Agenda (TGTA) Programme is pleased to invite you to Episode 15 of the ILO SKILLS Bridge Master Class Series on:
(Virtual event via Zoom | Participation is free)
As countries respond to skills shortages, demographic change and growing cross-border labour mobility, building fair, coherent and effective skills-based mobility pathways has become an increasingly important policy priority.
A particular feature of the session will be its international and cross-regional perspectives. Experts from the European Commission, World Bank, IOM, ILO, Germany and India will share emerging approaches and initiatives, alongside practical experiences and good practices from countries of origin and destination on how governments and institutions can work together to better align skills development with labour-market demand, facilitate recognition and portability of skills, and promote safe, regular and mutually beneficial mobility.
The draft concept note is attached with further information on the objectives, key questions and programme.
Please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues and networks who may be interested.
We look forward to welcoming you online.
