As part of the UNEVOC Network Coaction Initiative, Higher Colleges of Technology, UAE, together with partner UNEVOC Centres, is organizing an online training and forum on Intercultural Competence and Global Citizenship Education.
The programme is open to members of the UNEVOC Network and the wider TVET community. It aims to support TVET educators in strengthening intercultural awareness, communication skills, and global citizenship education in their teaching practice. Participants will explore practical strategies for classroom and workplace-based learning, engage in peer exchange, and join a wider community of practice.

Participants will also have the opportunity to earn digital badges through their engagement in the pre-forum, live forum, and post-forum activities. The live forum will include thematic modules, breakout sessions, multilingual participation, and practical activities focused on applying intercultural competence and global citizenship education in TVET contexts.

The Coaction Initiative is implemented by UNESCO-UNEVOC in the framework of the Innovation and Excellence in TVET project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) and implemented in partnership with the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), under the broader “Towards a Global TVET agenda” initiative.
